The technology was different, but the goal was the same. Since 1984 when I started in the title industry, customer service mantras really haven’t changed much. "We will be better, smarter, faster, friendlier, and more accurate than any of our competition!" Though the changes in technology are amazing the skill sets and talent you need to be successful at it have not.
“Give the client totally WOW service, beyond their expectation!”
We didn't actually say “wow” back then. The vernacular for that term arrived in 1994 when Tom Peters published, The Pursuit of WOW! ... but just the same...
