What is an ABR®? When I became a  Realtor® I began to see all sorts of letters behind other Realtor's® names. ABR®, ABRM®, SFR®,GRI®,CDPE, RESS, AHWD, e-PRO, GREEN, CFS, TRC, and they go on. Today let's focus on the ABR®

ABR® stands for Accredited Buyer Representative. The ABR® has been through additional education to receive this accreditation. They have studied and worked on ways to increase the representation of buyers in Real Estate transactions.

Back to school againI just dropped my daughter off for a new school year. As I did so I saw parents that appeared to be leaving their precious cargo at the school for the first time. There was an incredible buzz all around the school. My daughter woke up extra early and dawned her new outfit and could hardly wait to get to the first day of school. There were other parents who have done this what would seem like a hundred times. I applaud the teachers and other administrators for taking on such an important task of teaching. Buyers, It Just Might not get any Better Than This. I just received an email from a lender saying the following:
Check out the 5/1 ARM rates today. Lowest, I ever remember. While this isn’t a low for everyone, if you have a client who is planning on moving within five years, it’s a great loan. For five years the rate stays constant. On the sixth year the rate can adjust – up or down. If up, the rate can only increase 1% per year to a maximum of 5.
