Some folks living in the Colorado Springs area noticed that their rain barrel was almost empty every day, so they set up some cameras and discovered who the culprit was:









This is a tough trade-off: Is the show worth the potential problems? The answer has to be no, since the bear needs to be trapped and relocated before an unfortunate incident occurs. But the owner has a great memory and some awesome photos. Living in Colorado does have its Special Moments!

So, about 3 years ago, Mary gave me a couple of hermit crabs, Ozzie & Harriet, which I had in a terrarium on my desk at the office. Ozzie & Harriet were a nice couple - they never caused any trouble, didn't make any noise, kept pretty much to themselves. In fact, they mostly hid out, being hermit crabs. Usually, you couldn't even watch them because they spent all their time hiding in their log. Last year, they both died, probably of boredom, and the terrarium has been sitting empty on my desk ever since.

Last night we had a real treat for dinner - we went out to Gravity tentwenty, a new restaurant located in, and operated by, Fort Collins Brewery, one of our community's best craft beer brewers.

Fort Collins is the finest place I've ever lived. And I've lived in a lot of places. And, rightfully, Fort Collins always ranks highly on national surveys - things like the best places to retire, the best places to do business, the best places to raise a family. And several years ago, we won it all - the CNN/Money Magazine Best Place to Live in the US! It truly is a wonderful city and we're fortunate to live here.
