Home Prices Stablize Nationwide and in Chicago area - including Northwest Suburbs - Palatine, Schaumburg, Vernon Hills, Buffalo Grove, Lake Zurich etc.
Yes - home prices have finally bottomed..... at least that is what the experts are saying... One would think so - given that te 30 year fixed is at 3.88%! You may never see rates this low again. Home prices are getting supported by these very low rates (always an inverse correlation). However - 10 year bonds have run up quite a bit since Monday last week when they traded at 1.85%.
