 Here are a few more decorating don'ts from HGTV - They had a few more but I think these directly apply to Staging as well.Everything MatchesA room that looks like it's a page from a catalog is a mistake because people don't really live that way. It's designed to sell furniture and give you an idea of what you might have in your house, but you shouldn't be matching the look that closely. Update on Proposal for Developer - 10/18/07 08:24 PM
About two or three weeks ago I wrote a post asking for input in preparing a proposal for a local developer who was referred to me by Cort Furniture. He was building luxury apartments and needed two model apartments designed as well as a club house which included a living room with large fireplace, a kitchen, he asked to have a custom bar designed, a rental office, fitness center, men's and women's bathrooms and additionally a pool area with all the necessary lounge chairs, tables and chairs and sun umbrella.
