My company, Glastonbury Home Staging was hired to stage an owner occupied home for a family located in South Windsor, CT , that was relocating. I met with them in early January and discussed my recommendations. They had watched all the shows on HGTV and knew they needed help and were prepared and open to working to get their house ready for sale. They replaced all carpeting, painted the whole interior of the house, added hardwood floors, replaced windows, changed out hardware, changed light fixtures and replaced all kitchen appliances with stainless steel. I just spoke with the REA, Tommy Evans, Century 21, Glastonbury, CT, regarding a house that my company, Glastonbury Home Staging had staged, he had 4 offers in 4 weeks! I am thrilled for the seller. This unique home, a split level contemporary in Glastonbury, CT an area that has more traditional home, lots of center hallway Colonials. Two weeks ago, the seller said they had over 35 showings and 3 offers. I believe this is because the home showed well in the photos online, and because of the staging. If I do say so myself! My company, Glastonbury Home Staging, was recently hired to stage this 5 bedroom colonial, located in West Hartford, CT. This house was deceiving from the outside it so big and the bedrooms are all good sizes, particularly the master bedroom. Many families today are multi-generational, with grandparents moving in with their adult children and their grandchildrens or adult children moving back in with mom and dad. This house could be the right solution many family's housing needs. I met the listing agent by staging a property for one of his client's in December and he liked my work

An agent whom I have teamed up successfully in the past called me recently to come and see a house she had just listed during an open house. She said this house was a beautiful four-bedroom farmhouse styled house. The property was nicely landscaped and it had a beautiful pool area. It was located in a highly desirable neighborhood. She also said it was way too country, and that feedback after showings were not good. Everyone commented on the over-the-top country theme.
