One of the biggest struggles I face in my marketing efforts is staying away from the things that can distract me from my marketing plan, and with the rapid advancement of the online tools available to us, it's especially easy to chase rabbits when tweaking my online presence.

If there were ever a quote that should be every agents' motto, this is probably it:
"When you try to be everything to everyone, you fail to address the specific needs of anyone"
IMO, one of the main reasons for the high percentage of failure in this business is the lack of focus most agents employ.  An article I recently read @ RISmedia addressed this very topic, and did so quite well.
I'd encourage each and every agent to think today about who your target market is, and begin to devote 110% of everything you have to strictly that market.
