There are condos and there are condos. The Crofton MD real estate area has several condo sub-divisions. One of the most unique condo buildings in Crofton are located at "The Tiers of Walden." For Realtors, condos are mainly a form of ownership. In short, condominium ownership is from the walls in. From the walls out is owned by the condominium association. Maryland - PG County Down Payment Assistance Program - 07/23/09 05:39 AM
1st time home buyers in Prince George's County, Maryland, have a down payment assistance program which can qualify buyers for grants of up to $20,000.
The Neighborhood Stabilization Program can provide down payment or closing cost assistance in the form of a deferred loan. Stay in the house for 10 years and the loan doesn't have to be paid back.

Odenton, MD - June 2009 Real Estate Market Statistics - 07/13/09 02:13 PM

Odenton, MD homes sales were basically flat when compared to June of last year. While the total dollar volume was down slightly, -3.7%, the number of units sold were higher by three.
The range between $200,000 - $299,999 was the most robust. This is also the price range most often associated with first time homebuyers. 11 fewer homes sold in Crofton, MD in June, when compared with June of last year. As you can see, the most robust price range for Crofton home sales continues to be the $200,000 - $299,999 price range. This is the price range favored by most first time homebuyers.

Few will doubt that the housing collapse has many partners, but one of the recurring themes is the role of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in our current financial crisis.
The Congress has issued a report, "The Role of Government Affordable Housing Policy in Creating the Global Financial Crisis of 2008."
A couple of the conclusions which are detailed in the report are:

My Social Networking Plan Is Simple - 07/07/09 07:10 AM
I do have a Social Networking Business Plan. It's pretty simple really, and I don't confuse "social" social networking with "business" social networking. Like all of you, I do run a business, and my social networking plan directs my efforts to those aspects that can grow my business. Sometimes I wander, but not often. There are far too many things out there that are just "time wasters."

Photoshop - ROT Grid - 07/04/09 10:24 PM
What the heck is a ROT Grid? Well, serious photographers know all about the "Rule of Thirds," or ROT. Here's the Wikipedia reference for the Rule of Thirds. If you want to get serious about taking better pictures, you can find more information by Googling, "Photography Rule of Thirds," and read some of the tutorials.
The Rule of Thirds is sort of like the sweetspot on a tennis racket.

The Right Of Citizens To A Peaceful Protest - Annapolis MD Tea Party - 07/02/09 03:12 PM
Annapolis MD, once the Capitol of the United States, held a symbolic Tea Party protest today on the City Dock under spectacular weather. Of course, due to environmental concerns, no tea was actually thrown into the water.
A couple of hundred respectful protesters listened to speeches, carried signs and banners, and rallied against the fiscal policies of Local, State and Federal governments. Some of the most vociferous speeches were reserved for Local governmental policies, but no level of government escaped scrutiny.
