The Constitution guarantees the right to free speech. That guarantee also extends to protest movements, like Occupy DC. Protesters in McPherson Square, near the White House, have been camping in the park since October 1, 2011. After three months, local businesses, residents, and the police look like they’ve about had it with the Occupy DC movement. It didn’t happen on Monday, the day the Park Police announced they were going to tear down tents and evict the protesters...but it’s going to happen soon.
