arizona: Arizona Your Way Home 22% Down Payment Assistance Program - 12/17/09 07:17 AM
The Arizona Your Way Home program will help qualified buyers (income limits) with a 22% down payment assistance on the purchase of a REO home.
The Arizona Department of Housing has made a last minute decision to change the eligible properties guidelines for the Your Way Home Program.   
 
Effective immediately for all purchase contracts written after  December 9th the property must be located within an eligible zip according to the attached chart.
  
This chart will be posted on the program site page, along with the updated program fact sheet and the step by step process sheet, at yourwayhomeaz.com.

Six times I lost a sale, in as many months, because my buyers took too long to decide if they really wanted to place an offer.  When they did it, homes were already Active Contingent.
I am not talking weeks but rather a day or two.
If you are working with an agent you should be in a position to make a decision. Be pre-qualified and have done your research.  Price, location and what type and size home you are looking for.
