Today, Tuesday, November 10Th, 2009 is a day to be celebrated! Exactly 4 weeks ago, on the 2ND Tuesday of October, a plane landed at Midway Airport carrying a special passenger from Orlando Florida! The new arrival has been in the South Suburbs of Windy City Chicago for exactly for 1 Month today! Today is also the day 40 something years ago this dude was born!!! My driver's license expired in March. I was required to renew in person to undergo vision screening, and get an updated photograph. My mind was pre-programmed to expect a criminal-looking photograph that would be my official identification for the next four to eight years! -------------------------->

Property Management is not for everyone..... it takes someone who has bold nerve, is blessed with a gift of gab, and one born with a great sense of humor! Of course, possessing a "mean bluff" is a plus that would add longevity to a PM Career. It seems to be one of the least liked selections under Real Estate. Those that have past experiences in this field are all too eager to retell a "tenant from hell"story! The epitaphs inscribed on former PM tombs are all similar: "NEVER AGAIN!", "YOU CAN HAVE IT!" "DON'T EVEN GO THERE!" PM's are targets.... we get whipped from BOTH ENDS... a disgruntled tenant loaded with expletives, and a misinformed … (17 comments)

After buying $68.00 worth of groceries at our local Strack & Van Til's Grocery, Wednesday, i remembered i hadn't purchased the seasoning i needed. I asked the cashier if i could leave my full cart parked until i returned with the item. She directed me to a spot near the service counter. It took me about 3 minutes to find the aisle, locate the seasoning, and make my way back to the check-outs. If i were single....... and the "the man" just happened to FIND me, the first thing i'd make sure of is that he was the "one". If he weren't, i'd wait until the real one came along.....i would not settle for less! No one would be able to convince me of who he'd be.....i'd have to know for myself from the Lord. It all started when Jeff Turner posed a question to the Active Rain members after making us aware of the Growing Poverty Gap which he blogged about.
