must see tv: "24" Season 6 Finale - 05/22/07 07:28 AM
Well, last night was the final 2-hour Season 6 finale for Jack Bauer and "24"
It's almost felt like the end of NFL season and no more Monday Night Football. Or the way you feel after the NCAA Basketball Tournament is over. There's this big empty hole in your life.
So how did this finale stack up against the previous seasons? Let's take a little walk down memory lane:
Well, as you may recall, Season 5 ended all nice and sweet, with Jack and Audrey hugging and kissing. All was right with the world. And then, faster than you can say 'Kung Pao Chicken,' Jack is shanghai'ed to China!
Season … (12 comments)

must see tv: "24" - Between 11PM and 12AM - 04/23/07 09:02 AM
Okay, so this was probably one of the more predictable episodes in the season thus far. I mean, for a show that is known for it's sudden surprise plot twists and for abruptly killing off main characters, this past week's installment evoked a rather subdued 'yawn' from those in attendance at our weekly "24" viewing party.
The previous hour saw the unexpected demise of Fayed and the recovery of the suitcase nukes. President Palmer and staff breathed a collective sigh of relief. Re-election never looked better!
But then Jack gets the phonecall from Audrey, and faster than you can say "Big Trouble in Little China," Jack is pulled … (20 comments)

Wow! Talk about a taking a wild ride on the Jack Bauer Roller Coaster of Lost Love!
Hold on! The season isn't even over yet, and already Jack's saved the world once again??? What's up with that???
Fayed gets captured and Grendenko does a little one-armed body surfing. Jack tries to beat the location of the suitcase nukes out of Fayed, but he's not talking. Can you believe it? Someone that Jack Bauer can't get to cough up the information? This show is losing it's credibility!
And then comes the Armored Car collision! Remember the clip from last week, showing Jack getting shot? We all … (7 comments)

must see tv: The Famous Jack Bauer Manicure - 03/07/07 06:37 PM
Have you all missed me? Sorry that my "24" updates have been so sporadic of late. I had a really bad migraine headache this last Monday night. It didn't break until early the next morning. So I watched the last episode courtesy of Tivo!
Did ya catch the highlights for next week? Sometimes they're better than the episode itself.
Secret Service Agent Aaron Pierce is coming back! Oh Happy Day! And did you see who he was with? Yes, that's right. The Ex-First Lady herself! Boy, did I call that one way back when, or what? I knew the two of them had eloped … (8 comments)

must see tv: 4 cc's - 02/15/07 10:55 AM
Recap of Season 6: 12:00PM to 3:00PM (Don't ya just love these 2 hour double headers?)
So Jack obviously doesn't let a little thing like 'family' get in the way of a good interrogation!
Quote of the Week(s) (okay, so it's actually been a couple weeks since my last recap)
From the mouth of Jack: "4 cc's!" (referring to the syringe of hyocine-pentothal used for inducing pain)
"Did you KNOW it was Morris?" How many got that one right? Somewhat obvious, didn't ya think?
I didn't expect Rita to blow away McCarthy though. That was a nice 'shocker.' But what cracks me up is how people … (3 comments)

must see tv: "The Bauer Bunch!" - 02/15/07 09:08 AM
"Here's the story, of a man named Bauer,
who was raising up two very different boys.
One of them was full of lies, just like their father,
the other saved the world.
Then the one day when this Liar met our Hero,
and the baggie held a lot more than his lunch.
But the father was the one to overdose him,
does only two left make a bunch?"
"The Bauer Bunch, the Bauer Bunch! Won't be long til Jack makes his Daddy's neck go 'CRUNCH!'
