This patio table isn't dirty. I just cleaned it two days ago. It's pollen, deposited by a rainshower that moved through town yesterday.
After a hard winter even by Minnesota standards, we've been blessed with an unusually warm and early spring. It's as if we skipped March altogether, and April lasted only a few days before experiencing conditions more akin to early May. Tulips and daffodils are already blooming in some yards, and trees and shrubs are budding rapidly. Our annual surge of Spring optimism has erupted everywhere.
