I am linked in with over a thousand people on Facebook.  A Realtor in another state put up a post -  her daughter is a nurse and is caring for this little boy that does not have much time left.  In her post she requested that we send a card to this poor little guy because his wish is to receive one million get well cards.  I sent out a card to this guy and reposted and hopefully he will exceed the limit.

This historical little treasure was built in 1878 and located at one time on 8th Street and formerly (San Fernando Road) now known as Railroad Avenue.
The Kingsbury House was once occupied by Lyman Stewart in 1883. Mr. Stewart was known for forming the Union Oil Company.
In 1911, the house was purchased by August Ferrier and moved the Kingsbury House to Walnut Street.

One of my favorite historical places to visit is the William S. Hart Park and Museum in Santa Clarita, California!
This amazing treasure right in our own backyard was purchased and built in 1921 by William S. Hart, a beloved famous silent movie western star.
The Hart mansion up on top of the hill is a gorgeous 22 room museum for all to see and admire for free, just the way William S. Hart wanted it. It houses an exquisite collection of western art and Native American artifacts.

I had a friend call me to inform me that she had to leave town quickly on a family emergency.  I could hear the panic in her voice and decided I would offer to pick her up and take her to the airport.  It was the beginning of rush hour traffic in L.A. and decided I had to surrender the next 3 hours to traffic.  I made my way to her home, picked her up calmed her and got her to the airport.
