independence day: Pops on the River Chattanooga's July 4 Celebration - 07/04/08 10:29 AM

Happy July 4 to everyone.
Chattanooga began its community celebration of July 4, Independence Day, last night with the Annual Pops on the River concert. There were thousands of people in Coolidge Park for the event, and almost that many red, white, and blue balloons. The concert is also known as Pops in the Park.
The Pops on the River celebration is produced by the Chattanooga Dowtown Partnership. This group is part of the visionary leadership which is propelling Chattanooga into national prominence as a place to live.
