Regardless of the market today, that is what will happen to the fastest disappearing type of Real Estate there is - large acreage parcels in rural America.  I am not referring to 5 or 10 acre parcels, there are more of those now than there were 20 years ago as demand has called for them.  I am talking about larger tracts of 100 acres or more.  All you have to do is compare a plat map from 20 or 30 years ago to today in just about any county in the Midwest to see that these large tracts are quickly … (0 comments)

Is the Northern Michigan Real Estate Market on the upswing?  2010 statistics just in indicate "Yes".
The first 2 months of 2010 versus 2009:
* Number of sales are up over 50%
* Average sales price up over 30%
* Units on the market down 5%
This is according to the Northern Michigan MLS.
