recipe: The Chefs; Two Of Them Anyway! - 11/28/08 03:39 PM
Last Friday I was quite remiss in my promise to post a blog highlighting some of the great writers I have come across in the greater blogosphere. In honor of all the eating that I hope everyone did yesterday I wanted to highligh a couple of great cooking / recipe blogs that I frequent. Maybe these would have given you some more food ideas for Thanksgiving, but honestly, didn't you eat enough as it was!
These two writers and chefs have some great recipes. I have made several of their dishes and find them to be as tasty as they … (16 comments)

recipe: Zucchini Casserole, Vegetarian and Tasty! - 08/21/08 04:11 PM
As many of you know from my posts on my garden, I am an avid gardener. I also have posted a few of the tasty dishes I have made with the bounty from my garden. There really isn't much of a recipe! If you check out the following picture you will see just how easy this is!

There are of course … (24 comments)

recipe: Stir Fry Those Fresh Veggies! - 07/12/08 08:53 PM
Last night I used a couple of carrots, some radishes, an onion, a large zucchini, and a squash in a wonderful stir fry dish. I cut up the carrots, zucchini, and squash in sizeable strips. I diced the radishes and onion. All of this went into a large snapware bowl with Dale's low sodium seasoning poured over the top to marinade for at least 20-30 minutes. While it might not be the healthiest thing, I put a generous spoonful of country crock butter in a large skillet and heated it on high; yes you could use vegetable or olive oil. I … (38 comments)
