We are seeing more and more people trying to sell their home privately. They are trying to save on the commission and think that they can do a better job than we can as professionals. If you are trying to sell your home privately, make sure you are always available to show your home.
As Real Estate Agents we have a lot of qualified buyers that are ready to put an offer if they find the right house. If we can'tr get in to see your home, then how can we see if it fits our client's needs.

So you are thinking of selling your home but don't want to use a professional Real Estate Agent.
Many agents would not agree with me but it can be done. If you are lucky and the time is on your side it could possibly work. You just have to be aware of what you are getting yourself into before doing it. I have noticed that if your house is not sold in the first week or so it probably won't sell privately. I am not saying that it can work for everyone but some people do try and some are successful … (2 comments)

I had a chuckle the other day when I saw a large billboard on the side of the road. I had to slow down to see what this was all about. It was a private for sale company offering "Full Service & No Commission". I thought "WOW this is amazing!!"
My only question is what is "Full Service"?As real estate agents we offer "Full Service". To me this is what "Full Service" means: - We will get pre-qualify buyers that go through your home.
- We will make sure that the buyers are serious buyers, not just tire kickers
