Texas is famous for its ranches.
Just wanted to share some beautiful sunset pictures I took at a ranch near Bandera recently.
Only a few moments pass and the sky changes. Subtly, but enough to make a completely different scene. Which one is your favorite?
This is a beautiful ranch. Rich fertile soil,
nice trees, rolling, creeks, ponds, fenced,
gorgeous house. Extremely nice.

Another great afternoon, another great AR gathering! Only 3 of us but, oh well! It could not have been any nicer. We had a blast! I will save some of it for Judi to write about. Hopefully, she won't tell everything we did!!:)
My good friend and real estate partner Cheri Lynn Venditti joined us and we had some wonderful discussions about real estate and Active Rain. After lunch, we had a photo shoot in the restaurant. Everyone watching but not minding. We did not notice, we were having too much fun.

The Bandera County Chamber of Commerce and local businesses invite your participation and support in the annual Barbecue and Expo each year. This year is no exception. Yes, there are Big Tooth Maples in Texas.
They were brought here during the Ice Age and what a beautiful landscape they bring to the Hill Country canyons in western Bandera and eastern Real counties. Lost Maples State Natural Area is located just an hour southwest of Kerrville and only 86 miles NW of San Antonio. During the last part of October and the first half of November, the maples peak in red, gold, and yellow Autumn colors.
