Wow....It is hard to believe my mother, Karen Sterba-Carby opened up RE/MAX All Pro in Bloomingdale (Carol Stream), Illinois 20 years ago. I remember her lugging around the big real estate book with all the homes that were for sale. Getting new books every 2 weeks with updated listings. Secretaries took hand written messages instead of transfering calls to a voicemail or cell phone. Everyone had there own special key to open lock boxes instead of electronic lock boxes and keycards .
