The results are in!  According to Realtor Magazine, 7 of the top 10 cities which had increases in the average list price of a home are located in Florida.  As one might expect, Miami leads the way.  The increase in list price relates to year over year pricing  (February 2011/2012).

While it is understood that list price does not necessarily coorelate to sale price, it is evident that home Selling consumers appear to be showing increased confidence in the housing market.

Here's a list of the top 10 as posted by Realtor Magazine:

1.  Miami, FL - up 26.19%

2.  Phoenix, AZ- up 20.62%

3.  Punta Gorda, FL - up 19.35%

4.  West Palm Beach-Boca Raton, FL - up 18.48%

5.  Washington,DC, MD, VA, W VA - up 18.45%

6.  Boise City, ID - up 16.28%

7.  Naples, FL - up 15.67%

8.  Fort Myers - Cape Coral, FL - up 15.59%

9.  Daytona Beach, FL - up 15.56%

10.  Sarasota - Bradenton, FL - up 14.47%
