The following graphs show the number of Total Active Listings in Greater Victoria as well as Total New MLS® Listings and Total MLS® Sales for June 2011. As can be seen, sales volumes for 2009 were highest in May, June and July and for 2010 in March, April and May. Inventory levels are currently approximately 8% higher than at this time last year, standing at 5,050 on June 30.

The number of property sales in Greater Victoria in June rose slightly compared to May while overall prices showed some slight declines. A total of 618 homes and other properties sold in June through the Victoria Real Estate Board’s Multiple Listing Service®, slightly higher than the 572 sales in May. There were 625 sales in June of last year. New listings in June 2011 were 1,465, whereas there were 1,503 in June of 2010. Significant is the fact that there are currently 5,050 listings, whereas there were 4,730 (0 comments)
June 29, 2011... Canadian Bank Prime Rate is currently 3.00%. CanEquity Mortgage is offering 3.64% APR on a 5 year fixed closed mortgage. The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) was up 83.96 points closing at 13,188.94. Canadian/US Dollar Exchange Rate rose 127 points to close at 103.03 USD.
June 28, 2011... Canadian Bank Prime Rate is currently 3.00%. CanEquity Mortgage is offering 3.64% APR on a 5 year fixed closed mortgage. The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) was up 145.13 points closing at 13,104.98. Canadian/US Dollar Exchange Rate rose 41 points to close at 101.76 USD.
June 21, 2011... Canadian Bank Prime Rate is currently 3.00%. CanEquity Mortgage is offering 3.60% APR on a 5 year fixed closed mortgage. The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) was up 205.62 points closing at 13,063.32. Canadian/US Dollar Exchange Rate rose 82 points to close at 102.84 USD.
The first way I use the codes is in my postal walk flyers that are distributed by mail to my residential neighbourhood once a month.
