We have been working with several clients who have had to do a short sale. We now have a very different situation. Our client got one of those select your payment and could only afford the lowest payments. Because of this her loan has increased above the current value of her home, making it impossible to sell without doing a short sale. She has excellent credit, has never been late for any payment and does not want to destroy her credit rating. Her income and assets support her being elgible for a short sale, as per her conversations with the bank. … (13 comments)
