A VERY hot night for baseball in Huntington Park! - 07/20/11 10:22 PM
Baseball fans ventured out into the heat in Columbus tonight to watch the Columbus Clippers play AAA baseball. It was 50c wing nite at the park and the kids were playing in the center filed fountain to beat the heat! With temperatures in the mid 90's it was not a pleasant evening. Hopefully the heat will scale down and the rest of July will be much more seasonable!

Worthington community center offers a camp out to Worthington Ohio youth at the community center July 19 and 20. There will be a visit to Highbanks Metro Parks for a cook out and creeking. then campers will return to the Community Center for a late nite swim and out door movie. Tents will be set up and the campers will sleep outside!  Sounds like a fun time for young folks in Worthington Ohio!

Clintonville Ohio Market Report June 2011 - 07/14/11 01:53 PM
This past June in Clintonville Ohio saw 30 single family homes and condominiums sold. The average home sold was a 3BD 1BA 1,541 square foot home. This type of home sold for $182,150 after being on the market for 87 days.
In June 2010 we saw 37 homes get sold. The average was a 2BD 1BA 1,678 square foot home selling for $216,166 after 66 days on the market.
So in Clintonville, we're seeing fewer homes get sold, we're also seeing similar homes selling for less, and being on the market longer. What could this mean?

Last year in June Central Ohio had 1,722 sold homes, almost 300 more than this year! The average home was similar, a 3BD 1BA 1,941 square foot home, selling for $179,984 after being on the market for 83 days.

Conservation-minded Columbus residents can buy rain barrels at one-third the normal price after registering their home as a GreenSpot and attend a workshop or pass a quiz taken online. Mayor Michael Coleman announced the Columbus GreenSpot Backyard Conservation Program at a press conference Wednesday, June 29.
A rain barrel is an easy way to get water to yards and gardens, and its free! Through the initiative, residents can buy a rain barrel for $45, 1/3 of the $139 retail price.
