You can obtain a free credit report from each of the 3 largest credit bureaus (Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax) on the website www.annualcreditreport.com. Many clients (including myself) also freeze their credit bureau account so no one has access to your reports. It's easy and free to do so. Now, employees can receive $6,000 in down-payment assistance when purchasing a home in the University District, stretching roughly from Lane Avenue, to 5th Ave. Ohio State began this assistance program in 1998 and since then 102 employees have used the assistance to purchase homes in the University District. With the increase in assistance, the focus moves to the southern portions of the University District and homes north of Lane Avenue are no longer eligible under the program.
