I posted an article today in the aftermath of last weeks Fed interventionas the market digested the move and now all is well. Or is it? I think not. The Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke called an emergency session Friday and announced a .5% discount rate reduction about 90 minutes before the opening bell. The futures trading prior to the announcement showed a much weaker opening before the announcement and quickly reversed once the Fed move circulated. I am so sick of hearing all those "No Cost" TV and Radio commercials touting a very dangerous misconception...basically that home loans are "free"...that I'd like to fling myself out a plate glass window. I just finished an article on the subprime meltdown spilling over to Europe today causing the Dow to initially drop 200 points and push President Bush into a press conference...
