What do I do if I have to move before my lease is up? - 04/26/08 01:27 AM
If you must break your lease you should contact your property manager both in writing (letter or email) and via telephone as soon as possible. Although you are responsible for your entire lease, we can go to work to find a replacement resident as soon as we receive your written notification.

Can I make repairs and deduct the cost from my rent? - 04/23/08 11:11 PM
At HomePointe we do not allow residents to perform repairs at the property they rent. Tenants must contact us to request repairs and we will respond as quickly as possible. In some cases tenants may be allowed to maintain the yard, but no deductions are allowed for this.
Our reasoning is that tenants

PART III Real Estate Disposition Corporation (REDC) Auction Day 2 The Purchase PART III - 04/22/08 03:24 PM
By about 2:30 in the afternoon at the auction, the crowd had thinned out to about 1/2 the original number. It was now a visibly less energetic crowd and the bidding was slower. At 3/4 through the 200+ properties some properties came up that I had seen and wanted

PART II Real Estate Disposition Corporation (REDC) Day 2 The Auction - 04/21/08 05:10 PM
The instructions for the auction were to view the properties and then bring a $5,000.00 cashiers check made out to yourself along with another $10,000.00 cashiers check for each additional property you intended to purchase. That meant that most people probably brought one check and a few investors

Screening Tenants is Important For Property Managers - 04/16/08 10:54 AM

What Do You Know About Leases with Option to Buy - 04/14/08 05:51 PM
I am curious what experience anyone has with Lease Options. I have done some of these deals over the years but never had much luck making it work for everyone. Normally the tenant/optionor cannot come up with any cash, or has bad credit, or cannot get a loan at the end.
