I received this email from a friend. I have to admit that I was having a somewhat rough day of it until I read this. It really brightened things up a bit.
A mom was concerned about her kindergarten son walking to school. Hedidn't want his mother to walk with him. She wanted to give him thefeeling that he had some independence but yet know that he was safe.So she had an idea of how to handle it. She asked a neighbor if she wouldplease follow him to school in the mornings, staying at a distance, so heprobably wouldn't notice (7 comments)

Well, I read my broker's "Rant for the day", and I must say that it is pretty hard to compete with something like that. But, I do have a couple of points to get across pertaining to this time of year, if anyone is interested in listening or if it might pertain to your situation. First of all, we are now in the first month of the 6 month extensions for 2008 tax returns. I am asked, repeatedly, "why will I have to pay penalty and interest if I have you file an extension for me?" Here is the answer: If (10 comments)

I was at a wedding not long ago and this story was shared to most of the guests. It was very well received by most everyone and I thought I would share it. At 85 years, Wally married Anne, a lovely 25 year old. Anne decides after the wedding that because of her new husbands age, they should have separate bedrooms because she doesn't want him to over excert himself if they spend the entire night together.
