Augusta Georgia was recently named one the "Best Middle Class Housing Markets in the United States" by Forbes Magazine.
Even though we are experiencing an economic downturn the housing market in Augusta, GA continues to show positive signs and continues to receive national acclaim. Forbes Magazine's December 4 issue named Augusta as one of the "Best Middle Class Housing Markets in the United States", listing Augusta as #7.
The article, written by Forbes writer Matt Woosley, emphasized Augusta's strong value-holding prices, the median income of housing, and Augusta's "middle tier over prices" increase of 2%.

These are beautiful pictures that my family and I took last year while visiting Washington D.C. We were so excited to experience a once in a lifetime event. As a little girl I always wanted to visit the White House. I grew up in a poverty area and only saw pictures of Washington D.C. in my textbooks. As an adult I added the Pentagon and also Arlington National Cemetery to my wish list. I wanted to visit the place where all the great laws where established and to put a face with the pictures I saw.

TAKE AN ONLINE MENTAL VACATION FOR FREE!!!!!!!
Take your mind off of the economy, off of the gas prices, and off of Wall Street. Don't even think about what is going on in the housing market. Take a little vacation right there at your desk or wherever you are. I give you permission to take a 5 minute vacation in your mind. Just unwind and let it all go. Ok, that means relax, not focusing on what has to be done tomorrow or next week.

With everything that is going on in our economy today so much fear is driving our everyday decisions. Not knowing if we will be able to fill our gas tanks from one day to the next due to gas shortages, I ask, "is this a good time to invest in real estate?"
