keller williams: How to Avoid a Timeshare Foreclosure - 09/30/10 03:02 PM
Owning a timeshare means making monthly maintenance fees and paying homeowners association dues and property assessments. However, if you are having trouble making monthly payments for any reason, it may seem tempting to just let it slide, especially if a majority of the loan has been paid already. This is not recommended, as letting a timeshare go into foreclosure status can be very detrimental to a credit rating. There are ways to avoid timeshare foreclosure and keep your credit in good standing. One of the best methods is to get rid of the timeshare all together by selling it to another (0 comments)

If you drive 32 miles east of Reno, you'll find Fernley, Nevada. The city that limits its dog count to three per address and speaks out about the effects of graffiti on its Website has troublesome news to digest. A trustee sale is a public auction at which a piece of real estate is sold. Such sales are usually listed in the newspaper so that members of the public are aware of the fact that property is available for sale. In the case of mortgaged properties, when someone mortgages a property, part of the agreement involves a clause which allows the lender (0 comments)
keller williams: Deficiency Judgement - 09/30/10 02:35 PM

The home is collateral on the mortgage loan, so the bank is entitled to seize the home. When a bank seizes a home, the home may then (1 comments)

Banks try to sell their other real estate owned properties as quickly as possible to clear them from their books, as such properties drag down a bank's credit rating and total value. When banks initiate foreclosure proceedings on distressed properties, the goal is typically to sell the property at auction. Properties revert to (2 comments)
