Hold my beer and watch this - 12/17/07 12:52 PM
Well, maybe the beer is a little too much, but this is what you should reward yourself to for Chrismas! I bought three passes in this Chevy 350 rail job a few years back. It was a super treat! When you're almost sitting on the tarmac, everything seems to go much (15 comments)
Where were you when you learned Elvis had died? - 12/16/07 12:56 AM
A dear friend of mine sent me these photos of the house Elvis Aaron Presley was born in, on January 8, 1935. Do you remember where you were when you first learned of Elvis' death? Of course, that happened 30 years ago, and if you aren't at least 45 years old, (12 comments)
Wind and Rain in Northwest Florida - 12/15/07 05:17 PM
Today was 'Open House' day for the house I showed you on Choctawhatchee Bay. The weather this morning was beautiful, save for a little too much humidity. Then came a few droplets, then the winds, then the torrential downpour. It's just another of those wonderful reasons to live on the northwest (10 comments)
Pot of Gold - 12/12/07 11:17 AM
Someone asked if the fog had cleared here in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Well, not completely, and we expect it back daily for awhile, but that's not all bad. I just took a picture of the rainbow which developed as the the fog is clearing around 11:00am local Santa Rosa Beach (19 comments)
Light at the end of the tunnel - 12/12/07 10:18 AM
Interest rates fell ¼ point, should have fell at least ½ point. Unemployment fell slightly, discouraging inflation. If inflation is not visible on the radar, then recession becomes the alternative. Recession generally results in lower interest rates. Lower interest rates equal more disposable funds for house payments and allow the (3 comments)
Soupy Wall of Fog in Northwest Florida - 12/10/07 11:40 PM
Today has been the foggiest day I can remember. Just one big bowl of soup! It rolled in from the Gulf of Mexico like a big land-born cloud. You could see it coming as a huge, white, soupy wall. I was on my motorcycle and headed toward the main highway, US (3 comments)
SOLD-Location, Location, Location! - 12/06/07 09:41 PM
Imagine this! You're on 100 feet of the Choctawhatchee Bay in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Your lot is 300 feet deep. That's a football field folks! Your pontoon boat is on at your boat dock, lifted out of the water. It's almost winter, but by this weekend, the weather will (13 comments)

Southwestern Style Home in Northwest Florida - 12/05/07 12:51 AM
Here is a home I recently listed in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. It is the most unique house I've ever been inside. What you see from the outside is only a teaser; the real excitement is the work inside. This home was built with so much attention to detail that upon (10 comments)

Russian Capitalists and Vladimir Putin - 12/03/07 10:52 PM
Did anyone see the informative and thought-provoking CNN special entitled 'Czar Putin' about the capitalist revolution in Russia? Russia is now a very wealth country. Vladimir Putin has created a disciplined nation, and the young majority don't like Americans. They blame us for most of the problems in the world. After seeing (4 comments)
