florida: Real Estate Bubble - 01/25/09 10:47 AM
It seems to me, that with all of the tax dollars that we taxpayers are graciously offering to banks and financiers in the form of 'government' bailouts, we are simply diluting the dollar more and more, which equals inflation. Now that we are all inflated, and soon we will inflate even (4 comments)

florida: Federal Interest Rates vs Consumer Interest Rates... - 08/25/08 12:18 PM
Can we open a dialog about interest rates...?
Question: Why is it that when the 'Fed' lowers interest rates and none of this discount ever reaches the consumer?
When the Fed lowers an interest rate, it is doing what, exactly? Is the Fed just lowering the amount of interest it charges to (3 comments)

florida: Holding the Bag - 07/25/08 01:07 PM
Is the Florida Real Estate Market Improving? We've been hard hit here for lots of reasons. Prices got rediculously high and were supported by appraisals, lenders, Realtors, and buyers. Then the second shoe fell, and reality stepped in. We've had the flood of foreclosures, short sales, auctions, etc. Lots of buyers (2 comments)
