The 2nd annual bluegrass festival hosted by The Kaminski House at 1003 Front St. in Georgetown, SC is happening this Saturday November 20th from 1PM-4PM. Last year's crowd was good for an inaugural event but this year's event promises to be spectacular. Admission is FREE and bring your own chair and picnic meal. The Kaminski House also offers house tours on the hour from 10AM-3PM and on Sunday from 1-4PM. Tour tickets cost $7 for adults and $3 for children. We are saddled with problems in this country that can help solve themselves in a natural way if we just apply a little common sense. The government is holding hundreds of thousands of affordable homes in default. Our country is struggling with an illegal immigration problem. Let's try offering permanent resident status to any immigrant family that buys a home out of foreclosure. Put a few stipulations on it like they must occupy it as a permanent residence for at least five years and go through other standard channels to achieve permanent citizenship but give them a fast track.
