pawleys island weather: Dogs Rule the Surf

My Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Windy, hit the beach today and loved it. Windy is an 11 year old female and is still very active. Her favorite activity is long, open water retrieves in the ocean. We went to the south end of Pawleys Island, SC and the crowd was extremely light with only about 7 vehicles in the parking lot. My daughter played in the sand and then we had a picnic dinner. We met two other children that had been netting jellyfish and crabs in the creek and they all shared some Skittles. My dog, Windy, was born on a … (6 comments)
