Thanks to Sarah Moore for posting this blog re a true experience her daughter had re texting.  Texting certainly is the rage these days and some safety measures need to be practiced as there are plenty of "creepy" people out there that could do harm to you or a family member.
Before offering any personal info on yourself or a friend to someone texting you verify they are who they say they are!

Oh No!  Now There's Another New Danger!  Recently I did a blog on an article in our local newspaper on the possible danger of lead in the bags we purchase to carry our groceries, etc home in to prevent the danger of the landfills filling up with the controversial plastic bags.
Now the paper had an article on the lead dangers in drinking glasses with pictures, etc etched on them!  The Associated Press commissioned laboratory testing to come up with this.  The article is a fairly long dissertation on the subject.  The testing done on glasses with depictions of Superman, Wonder Woman and the … (13 comments)

Good gracious.  If you are using an iPhone you may want to check if geo codes/tags are turned on which can pinpoint your homes location.  Especially if you engage in Social Media sites.  There seems to be no end to the dangers out there.  If you have other phones that take pics you may want to check if there is a geo code/tag setting.

Oh no -- A New Danger!  Bringing home the groceries safely is becoming a real challenge if you are to believe everything you read.  First it was get rid of the perverbial paper bag as it was decimating the forests, etc.  So, the plastic bag came along and we had our choice -- paper or plastic.  That seemed to work for years.  But than no matter how well these worked and you could reuse them for other things they were declared bad, bad, bad for landfills, etc.  Okay, next you are encouraged to purchase and use your own toting bags.
