Bank Foreclosure filings eased in December down 2 percent from November and down 26 percent from December 2009.  This is the biggest drop in foreclosure since 2005 according to reports.  We believe this drop is not a trend but a function of the hullabaloo surrounding foreclosure documentation and robo-signing scandal by banks.  A lot of major lenders for the short term halted some foreclosure proceedings as they reviewed there foreclosure processes.  Adding to the slowdown in foreclosure filings in California is a improved willingness for banks to consider … (0 comments)

New building starts for homes are down which is predictable due to the year end slow down.  However these are mostly national numbers and don’t reflect your local market.  In the Great Antelope Valley Palmdale & Lancaster in Los Angeles County in Southern California are way ahead of the curve.  We have sold over 4,000 homes in 2009 and over 5,000 for 2010.  New home starts are up here bucking the national trend. January 3 the valley received over 4 inches on the valley floor and more then a foot in the foothills...

Real Estate Trends - Palmdale, Lancaster, Anaverde and the Greater Antelope Valley January 7, 2011Okay I know I we have been out of pocket for all most 2 months.  Christmas and the New Year were great we saw a lot of family and are back to work in 2011!  We have the monthly numbers for Nov ’10 and Dec ’10…  Looking at today’s numbers WOW short sale are over 40% of the market…  Bank owned are 21% and are pushing the 300 mark.
Again thank everyone for a great 2010 and a better 2011!
