The mix of homes for sale in the Antelope Valley has shown a steady rise in short sales and declining bank owned properties.  Buyers are having a better time buying short sales as banks are moving the process with improvements is almost are phase.

Foreclosures decreased 2% in February compared with January.  Foreclosure filings were reported on over 300K properties in February.
