I Have admired this particular BARN for a long time and finally parked my car and climbed the fence and walked across the pasture just to get a close-up of what I call "The Loan Ranger". It sits all alone in a huge field with cattle all around. Most of the Barns I capture are always close to another building or some type of old home...but not this one! It's standing the test of time all by itself! If you look closely you can even see the lightning rods on top.

This is a true Image of Time Gone By in the Bristol Tn Va area! The Corn Crib was a neat fixture on every farm that I knew of growing up. It was unique in the fact that the you could spot the yellow corn from a long ways away! The slats were strategically placed just a few inches apart so that air could circulate to keep the corn from mildew and mold.....it would last till the next years crop rolled in. This is just a quick reminder that I was totally unaware of. I had a listing in a subdivision where public sewer had been recently installed throughout the neighborhood. My seller had elected not to TAP on at that time because of $$$$ issues and the fact that his septic system was working fine.....and many others around him were electing not to TAP on at that time.

Images Of Time Gone By In Jonesborough Tn...What happened?

While on a back road looking for property I caught a glimpse of one of the Images Of Time Gone By In Jonesborough Tn. It is totally grown over and abandoned for some reason....definitely a fire broke out at some point and left only the CHIMNEY and some rubble as a reminder of another one of those Images Of Time Gone By In Jonesborough Tn!
It's sad to think about ...but this was once a fine piece of Real Estate.

It's ironic that both use each other to define themselves!

I've had two Condos under contract for over 6 months waiting on a Judge to rule whether or not the two units can be rented or they have to be owner occupied.
The current buyer was willing to pay full price for the two units only if he could rent or lease them.
The Homeowners Association is trying to change the By-Laws so that all the units in this complex have to be owner occupied.
