This is probably the simplest thing to prevent from ever showing up in a Home Inspection report!
Keep those gutters clean!
It's very simple to just schedule a gutter cleaning every two months....more often in the fall and spring. Or have gutter guards installed and you will just have to check periodically to make sure they are working properly.

Just a quick tip for all those out there in The Bristol Tn Va Area that have rental property!
If you have rental property that is vacant you need to check it out everyday for possible problems! I have a good client who was in between renters and had failed to check the property for a couple of weeks and got a call from a neighbor yesterday that water was running out of the house.

I came around a curve last week and there were at least 6 or 7 buzzards taking advantage of the cycle of life.
It reminded me of the movie "Field of Dreams"....You remember...build it and they will come?
Because they all flew away when I rounded the curve and then one by one they began to come back....most of them anyway.
