There's a lot to do in Rockport!  Though Rockport is a small community its a great place to "get away"!  Rockport is approx. 3 hours away from Houston, San Antonio, and Austin.  Rockport is on the coastal bend with a population of approximately 8,000 - depending on the season!  You can go fishing, birding, boating, golf, shopping...check out the local art, or just sit on the beach.   Please visit http://www.rockport-fulton.org/ for future events.     Look for spoonbills.... Welcome- bienvenidos  ... There are some great developments happening in Rockport.  Check out Lamar Pointe!  The Charm of the Texas Coast ...approximately 3 hours from Austin, Houston, and San Antonio.   Take a drive along Fulton Beach Rd....don't be surprised when you see a blue heron or a white egret standing on the waters edge.
