Thats medical information bureau. Are you aware of that every time you fill out an application for health or life insurance your information is stored like a credit bureau in whats called a Medical Information Bureau. Also whenever you fill a prescription or even get prescribed one it will also be recorded. ANd now pretty soon doctors will begin to see your credit to see if you are eligble to pay the doctor bill. The same people who brought lenders credit score are working on medical fico. Some time back I received the an email in regards to this. I really think this is a good Idea. If health insurance was manadated like car insurance the premiums would be a lot lower. I feel for the doctors. Its really amazing how people in general get there insurance policy. Health insurance is the only business you dont know how much your bill is and if your covered until the smoke clears and you get a bill in the mail saying its not covered. Which happens to everyone.
