Thunder Roads Biker Magazine a great source of information for bikers all over America

This is a great magazine that is printed and distributed free. However you can log onto the website and purchase it having it delivered to your mailbox instead. It tells you about all the event coming up for that month. Sales that go on in the area. Swap meets, news, and most of all bike events. I love this magazine. I can't believe that its free. The way you get it free is just stop by any of the local motorcycle shops and I am sure they have one laying around. I get mine at the Kawasaki dealership in Tullahoma, TN.

The front cover of the June issue has Bo Bice on it. It also has all the archived magazines on their website. Just check out the local one. Here is Tennessee. It is www.thunderroadstennessee.com

The Jack Daniel's Distillery was established in 1866. Jasper Newton (Jack Daniel) was a life-long resident of Lynchburg Tennessee and founder of the distillery that was registered "No.1" with the U.S. Government in 1866. the making of their Tennessee whiskey was set down by the founder Jack Daniel, and has been maintained for over 125 years.

The whiskey seeps drop by drop through the huge vats, packed with their own specially prepared charcoal.

Since the 1800's the square has been the social center of Lynchburg and Moore County. The Courthouse pretty well dominates the square. It was built back in 1885 by the locals using bricks made right there in Lynchburg.

Manchester is a city in Coffee County Tennessee. The population was 8,294 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Coffee County. The city is located halfway between Nashville and Chattanooga on Interstate 24.

Beginning in 2002, Manchester has been the host city for the annual Bonnaroo Music Festival. The city's population swells to nearly 100,000 people for the four day event, for which people travel across the country to camp and enjoy continuous and diverse music.

As of the census of 2000 there were 8,294 people, 3,326 households, and 2,148 families residing in the city.

The median income for a household in the city was $31,983, and the median income for a family was $38,404. Males had a median income of $31,708 versus $21,380 for females. The per capita income for the city was $17,168. About 13.1% of families and 17.6% of the population were below the poverty line, including 22.0% of those under age 18 and 20.0% of those age 65 or over.

Who loves Texas Holdem? I have a great place for you to get your fill

I have recently become addicted to Texas Holdem. This is a game of cards based pretty much on regular poker. But your only dealt two cards that you play and slowly five more cards are shown face up that you play your cards with. The best of five cards wins. I pretty much have obtained my share of winnings in this at a great website. www.fulltiltpoker.net

Now all you have to do is sign up and download the appropriate software and you can play. You can also chat with other players from around the world. Sometimes I even promote myself if I get into a conversation and it turns to real estate. I can give myself a free plug. But ultimately its about the game. Poker. Has anyone had frequent problems with Windows Vista? What did you do about it?

I for one miss my Windows XP. I know, I know change with the times right? But it seems that Windows Vista has had more glitches in the first months of ownership than in the entire time I had Windows XP. I just wonder if anyone has had the screen to freeze? Does anyone know what this is? I have other problems but when that one happens I could be in the middle of an e-mail or blog and all the information that I have just typed is lost. I just wonder has anyone else had the same problem and what did you do to fix it.

Is there a way that you can install Windows XP on your existing computer and wipe the Windows Vista completely off the hard drive? I own a copy of Windows XP and was thinking about trying it on this computer. By the way its a laptop.

I know that each of us use computers everyday. Unfortunately when our car breaks down have to take it to the shop. But as much as we use our computers we have to become mechanics ourselves.

Ok so I was reading along trying to glean some information from these blogs. When along comes this curious one that was complaining about other agents not putting dates in or missing signatures. Then the person went on to say that it was a pet peeve of theirs.

That is when I thought well why don't I write a blog on the subject. My pet peeve is when people hold other people to perfection. I mean we are all still human. We are all going to make mistakes. So if your meticulous with your paperwork. Just pick up the phone and let the other agent know that something is missing and ask them to put it in.

Not only am I a real estate agent but I work in an ER. I have mountains of paperwork there. There are a vast amount of boxes not checked and lines not signed that come from doctors, nurses, paramedics and administration. We get paperwork back all the time that is missing a signature a date, initials or something. We even have a job for someone that checks the paperwork and sends it back to be corrected and they get paid and annual salary. Its called QA. (Quality Assurance.) I mean we want quality assurance, that is number one for the client. So you are good at paperwork. Then please check mine. I don't want to make mistakes either. But they happen.

Don't you think that you guys make mistakes too? Try next time to remember that we are all human. We make mistakes as well and need understanding and forgiveness.

The weekend festival brings in so many people that for three days Manchester actually becomes the state's six largest city. This is the permenant home of Bonnaroo that the Rolling Stones mag dubbed "the American rock festival to end all festivals, and attracts nearly 90,000 music fans from around the globe each year.

The Sportsman and Businessmen's Charitable Organization

The birth of this unique organization took place in 1986 at the breakfast spot of several local businessmen. Sitting in the 41 Drive Inn, as they would almost every morning, this group discussed how giving to less fortunate individuals was instilled in them at an early age by their parents and they decided to act on the lessons of their youth. This troop, best described as the "hard ankles", was an energetic crew but was officially unoffical. They typically prided themselves in possessing a strong work ethic, sharp business minds, and a keen sense of play. To this day practical jokes and old fashioned ribbing are their true talents and give them more joy than the air they breathe.

It offically began when the men agreed to have a turkey shoot at the Sain Farm and give all the proceeds to charity. The first event was a great success and raised around $16,000. For the first couple of years Christmas baskets were purchased and delivered to dozens of underprivileged families. The addictive effect of giving took hold on the "hard ankles" and subsequently the Sportsmen and Businessmen's Organization has grown to include thousands of supporters from all across the region. Fundraisers are held are held once annually in the fall and now take place at the Manchester Coffee County Conference Center.

The SBCO is unigue because of the varying needs it now provides funding for, which include" scholarships to college bound students, burial assistance, fire and natural disaster relief, medical supplies and medicine, neccesary living expenses, shoes and clothing, and various other needs that arise in the community.

The UT Space Institute was officially dedicated in 1964, with Dr. B.H. Goethert, then a Manchester resident, serving as the first dean. Many UTSI employees still reside in Manchester today.

Today, UTSI offers PH. D's and Masters degrees in the disciplines of Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management and Physics. Master's degrees are also offered inn Aviation Systems, Electrical Engineering and Mathmatics.

UTSI is growing! Student enrollment is up over 50 % this year in UTSI's two most popular programs: Aviation Systems and Engineering Management. Several new faculty members have been hired in the past year and there are several more positions still to be filled adding to a collection of professors and research faculty that make up some of the worlds's most brilliant minds in the fields of science, engineering and new technology.

Talk about a great hike. Check out our local park Old Stone Fort State Park. This wonderful park is a state Archaeological Park and is dedicated to the preservation, protection, study and interpretation to the public of this significant survival of ancient culture. They offer more than just a great hike. There is a museum. The 876 acre park also offers a variety of activities including fishing, camping and hiking. There is also Old Stone Fort Golf Course.
