September 15, 2010 Now that the Clarksville Riverfest is over, many are checking out flash back photos and more. Just today Clarksville Online has released and overall story of the Clarksville Riverfest 2010 full of details, photos and videos from the two day event. Covering an event like the Clarksville Riverfest is no small task. With many media groups on hand, Clarksville Online and Discover Clarksville was selected to document as much as possible. After the Ragatta awards ceremony was completed it was time for the 9-11 Remembrance Ceremony at the Clarksville Riverfest to honor those who died in the attacks in New York City. Enjoy to music from the 101st Army Band as the color guard makes their way to the stage. The color guard includes Clarksville Police officers and Firefighters who carried the US Flag, the New York Police and Fire Department flags and a fire ax carried on 9-11. The 2010 Clarksville Riverfest is now a faded memory. With so many activities going on and great music, there was something for everyone. The Riverfest Regatta set a record with 30 boats this year. The kids Adventure Zone was full of activity for kids of all ages with huge inflatables, petting zoo, displays and performaces. There were many great bands to perform on the two stages this year. From local bands like Chris Monhollen ( Awesome ) to more well know bands like Restless Heart to filled in for James Otto after he was admited to the hospital and had to cancel. One (1 comments)

Spetember 12, 2010 Jimmy Wayne was working the crowd during his performance as he closed out the 2010 Clarksville Riverfest last night. Jimmy Wayne moved along the front of the stage and into the crowd thanking his fans during his performance and even taking photos and dancing with the ladies. At one point he even called James Otto from his hospital bed and put him on speaker phone to say a few words to all the fans. The hillside in frot of the stage was packed with screaming fans as they closed out the 2010 Clarksville Riverfest.

September 11, 2010 The day started off today with the Regatta at the Clarksville Riverfest. There was fun for everyone. There were a total of 30 boats to enter the Riverfest Regatta which 27 made it to the finnish line while still floating. The other three sunk at the dock. The Southside Cripler and his partner decided to swim with their wrinkled boat so they could at least Finnish the race.
As the day goes on there were many events taking place including the 9-11 Remembrance Ceremony. The 101st Airborne Band played music, there was (0 comments)

September 10, 2010 It's that time again for the 2010 Clarksville Riverfest - Will you be there ? Clarksville Riverfest has officially kicked off tonight alond the Cumberland River. Be sure to gather your friends and family and come on down and enjoy the live and visual arts entertainment. This is a 2 day FREE event that you will not want to miss. There will be lots of food, inflatables for the kids of all ages. Dont forget about the Regatta and the Lighted Boat Parade. Due to illness, James Otto had to cancel his performace at the Clarksville Riverfest. Restless Heart to perform Friday night on the Bud Lite stage. Show time is set for 9:00 pm. Come on out to the Clarksville Riverfest and enjoy the show along the Cumberland River. Keep in mind that there are lane closures along Riverside Drive and parking will be limited in the immediate area. There will be no parking at the Two Rivers Center. The Clarksville Riverfest creates Lane Closures on Riverside Dr starting on Thursday September 9th until September 11th. Keep in mind if you are traveling this way that you will need to alot yourself some extra time or seek an alternative route to your destination. If you are going to Riverfest, there will be FREE PARKING available at Austin Peay State University - Dunn Center parking lot. Bus service will be running every 30-45 minutes to shuttle patrons to the Riverfest gates on Friday and Saturday. It's almost that time again....... Get ready for the 2010 Clarksville Riverfest Lighted Boat Parade. The 3rd Annual Riverfest Lighted Boat Parade to be held Saturday, September 11th at 8 pm. Judging will take place at the McGregor Park courtesy boat dock. Come on out and see all the lighted boats along the Cumberland River. There will be awards given out for the boats. The 2008 Clarksville Riverfest had lost to offer this year. Tonight was the finals of Beaver Idol along with all the other activities. There was food and fun for the entire family. This is a yearly event that draws large crowds and they have to shut down Riverside Drive to allow easy access to and from the event. There was a childrens play area full of bouncer play gyms, a petting zoo along with many other activities. Many business has booths to promote their product as well.

I want to send a BIG CONGRATULATIONS out to Thea Agnew on a Great Performance at the 2008 Clarksville Riverfest during the Beaver Idol competition. Thea put on one heck of a show and had the crowd going wild through out her whole performance. I really think Thea should have won...Unfortunately I was not one of the judges. After her performance, Thea got to take pictures and sign autographs for the fans. There were many supporters screaming, shouting and waving posters for Thea tonight. I look forward to her next performance. Thea has big plans and she will do very well.
Don't forget about the Beaver Idol Round 3 Compition this weekend at the Clarksville Riverfest at McGregor Park here in Clarksville Tennessee. There will be 15 finalist completing for Beaver Idol and a chance at getting a recording contract. The show starts at 5:00 PM and wraps around 6:30 PM Be sure to arrive early and get a great seat.
