Pineville, Louisiana, is located in central Louisiana across the Red River from Alexandria.  It is in the center of the state.  If you are considering a move to central Louisiana, definitely take a look at Pineville.

The city of Alexandria is located in the geographic center of the state, placing it within an easy drive of any other city in the state.  It is a family-oriented city, as is its sister city, Pineville, located just across the Red River.  There are many things to do, from the zoo to the minor league baseball team, the Alexandria Aces.  There are plays at the local colleges (Louisiana College and Louisiana State University at Alexandria) as well as the Coughlin-Sanders Performing Arts Center, which hosted the second international piano competition in 2007.  Kent House gives us a look back to … (2 comments)
