pineville la real estate agents: Choosing a Marketing Agent - 11/01/17 10:10 AM
I want to sell my house.  Does it really matter who I get to list it?  Is there a difference in agents?  What do all those initials behind some of the agents' names mean?  Should I interview more than one?

It matters who lists your house, because that agent is your marketing agent.  Ask the agent what she does to ensure your house gets the largest exposure.  How many web sites list your house?  Since more than 90% of buyers find their house on the internet (a large portion of them before ever calling an agent), you want your house listed on … (2 comments)

pineville la real estate agents: Foreclosures in Central Louisiana - 05/08/11 01:36 PM
Foreclosed properties in Central Louisiana While foreclosures haven't been as big an issue in Central Louisiana as what I hear on the national news, nevertheless there are quite a few properties available at present. Several came on market just this week. With due diligence on the part of the buyer, they can be obtained for less than market value. This beautiful house in West Pointe on the Bayou sold last year as a Fannie Mae foreclosure. Here in beautiful Central Louisiana, we are seeing an influx of people looking for a lease purchase arrangement.  Why?  Here are a few reasons:

pineville la real estate agents: Relocating to Alexandria or Pineville, LA?? - 11/06/10 11:22 AM

If you are relocating to Alexandria or Pineville, LA, you are moving to a wonderful place!  Alexandria and Pineville are sister cities separated by the Red River.  We are in the geographic center of the state, so if you want a trip to New Orleans for some jazz or beignets, it's only about 3.5 hours away.
The weather is generally nice, although humid, so if you enjoy outdoor activities, you will find them available year round.  Winters are usually relatively mild.  Summers are hot, so air conditioned homes are the norm.   We are far enough inland not to worry too much … (0 comments)

pineville la real estate agents: My REALTOR Isn't Showing My House! - 01/08/09 01:59 PM
Is my REALTOR doing his/her job if he/she doesn't show my house?  Maybe yes, maybe no!  What is the role of the listing agent?
The primary role of your listing agent is to market your home.  Is your home being shown by other REALTORS?  Is your home being marketed in all the areas promised to you during the listing appointment?  If your answer is yes, until your home is under contract, your REALTOR is at work whether showing your house or not.
The whole purpose of entering your home in the MLS and marketing it widely is to attract as wide … (0 comments)
