Kelly Thomas Memorial Fund Benefit Concert After all of the bad press and feelings that have been surrounding Fullerton these past few months there will be a concert to benefit the Kelly Thomas Memorial Fund that will spread some positive vibes for the city. Kelly Thomas' father Ron heads the KTMF, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to assisting the homeless men, women and children of Orange County. KTMF feels that this benefit concert will bring more people together as well as making more people aware of the huge homeless problem in the OC. All of the bands are from Orange County … (0 comments)
fullerton police: Fullerton Market to host Sept. 11 Tribute

The more than 3,000 people killed in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001, will be remembered in a special tribute to be held at the outdoor Fullerton Market on Thursday, Sept. 11.
The 30-minute ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. on the stage of the Downtown Plaza, with Mayor Sharon Quirk welcoming with the audience. Following the mayor, the Fullerton Union High School JROTC cadets will present the colors, and Lexy Romano, "Miss Fullerton 2008," will sing the National Anthem.
