Dear Consumer,
I understand your frustration, disappointment & even your anger about Realtors. You have been let down, lied to, and in some cases stolen from. And I do not feel sorry for most of you.
Let me share this story with you:
I had a computer that was constantly losing memory. It is now with it's 3rd technician. Like you, I know very little about "the industry." In fact, … (0 comments)

This parade was a winner...many,many floats of great quality and variety....and huge cold eventhough it was cold...but a warm spirit.

The bands were great, and the various Lighted Floats from Harley's to horses...lot's of great ideas.
Thanks to all of the volunteers...what a great way to kickoff the Christmas season....
Now, the Christmas Lights Spectacular at the Anderson District Fairgrounds. A huge ice scateing rink and Santaland, with the creative Gingerbread House contest....makes it all well worth attending.....early evenings are great for the kids, with the train rides, etc.

Ron Largent's Gingerbread House Contest at Christmas Spectacular - 12/04/09 08:20 AM
This was in the Record Searchlight web and paper today:
A Shasta County assessor-recorder candidate is splitting proceeds from a gingerbread house competition with a children's charity and his campaign, a tactic his competitor says is misleading families by using their holiday goodwill to inadvertently bolster his political war chest.
"Gosh, that's families, you know," Leslie Morgan, the incumbent assessor-recorder, said Thursday of Ron Largent's "Gingerbread Magic" competition at the Christmas Holiday Spectacular display at the Shasta District Fair grounds in Anderson. "It's going to hit a whole different vein of life (outside the political arena) - you know, the whole … (0 comments)

Enterprise High School Football and Section Title - 12/02/09 06:24 PM
Last week we had a great game between Enterprise HS of Redding and Paradise HS of Paradise, Ca, near Chico.
It came down to the final minute: Enterprise won, and Paradise disputed the victory.
Just today, the Record Searchlight gave us the background to the appeal and the final decision, and here it is. Well done.
The ruling off the field stands as well: Enterprise High School is the 2009 Northern Section Division I football champions.
Section commissioner Liz Kyle on Wednesday denied an appeal from Paradise High School concerning the Hornets' 26-23 win over the Bobcats last Wednesday.
"There is … (0 comments)
