      <title>Property Launch Formula</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;Ok - it's no secret - the real estate market is in shambles. Down in the dumps, as many would say. And we're not alone...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Wall Street is floundering. The Auto Industry is sinking. And Real Estate... well, let's just say it burst a bubble ssooooo big that it splattered across the entire nation (and world for that matter). Our Government, in their usual fashion, has attempted to bandage our financial wounds by throwing MORE embarrassing amounts money at it until it goes away. We've all heard the story of bailouts on Wall Street and Auto Industry. We've even seen the real estate industry offer an $8k Tax Credit to homebuyers who qualify.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Now, currently, the Healthcare industry is taking center stage and attracting the attention of the world.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When will it stop?&amp;nbsp; &lt;strong&gt;Never.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;History proves the cyclical process of "good times" and "bad times" will prevail. It's the inevitable cycle of history repeating itself.&amp;nbsp; For most, the emotion of fear, anxiety, stress, worry, mild-depression, etc. in "bad times" is a reality in today's economy. Some have lost their jobs. Been foreclosured on. Filed bankruptcy. It's terrible.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;On the flip side, for others, things are stable, yet tightened up. They're surviving, but still feeling the emotions of fear, stress, and worry. They're cutting back on expenses at every cashier counter.&amp;nbsp; Saving on energy at every corner. Checking the balances once, twice, and three times just to make ends meet.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;However, in the not-so-distant future for most people there are "the few" who are discovering new opportunities and possibilities EVERYDAY. Why? Because they have an abundance mindset. They have a "&lt;em&gt;the glass is half full&lt;/em&gt;" attitude towards life.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Heck, my product launching in late 2010 titled &lt;strong&gt;The Real Estate Rebound Report&lt;/strong&gt; is practically writing itself.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Take for example, Zillow.&amp;nbsp; In a July 2009 they reported 8.7 million UNIQUE visitors in the month of July ALONE! That's &lt;strong&gt;65%&lt;/strong&gt; more visitors than the year previous in July 2008. Overall, they recorded &lt;strong&gt;14.6 million visits in July&lt;/strong&gt;. That is insane!&amp;nbsp; For any real estate enthusiast to look at these numbers... they &lt;em&gt;know&lt;/em&gt; this is unlike anything we've ever seen on the Internet in our industry.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;*SPECIAL NOTE* - Remember, some would speculate we're in the worst economy we've seen since the Great Depression...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;8.7MM UNIQUE visitors is a significant portion of the market. And to be 65% ahead of the previous year in is absolute domination. Mark my words, Zillow will become the MLS and the MLS will become Zillow.&amp;nbsp; (Wow, that I just had one of those moments where I know what I just said was a bold and &lt;em&gt;uneducated&lt;/em&gt; statement... but I'm gonna leave it for shits and giggles... I guess we'll see.)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Today, in this blog post, we take the TEAM concept a step further with the principle of the MASTERMIND.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What is a Mastermind, you ask?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Well, it's an alliance of two or more people working in perfect harmony with a positive mental attitude for the attainment of a definite end.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In other words, it's a dedicated group of people who share common interests, beliefs, perspectives and purposes in common, who believe that the power of the "group mind" is exponentially more powerful than the sum of the individual minds from which the group is made up of.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The concept of the Mastermind was first introduced to me through Napoleon Hill in his book "Think and Grow Rich".&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This book had a profound affect on me. Not only as an entrepreneur, but as a person. Therefore, it will become obvious that many of the statements and concepts you read on this blog have been influenced by his teachings.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Step #1 - Surround Yourself with a Mastermind Alliance&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Today, whenever I ask an ultra-successful individual to what they owe their success they almost always trace it back to the work of their Mastermind groups and the people they surround themselves with.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It goes without saying that if an individual wants to change something drastic in their life they almost always have to change their habits. And most often than not, if they want to see a significant difference, they have to change the people they surround themselves with.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you want to become healthy, mentally and physically, would you surround yourself with negative people who eat every meal at McDonalds??&amp;nbsp; Of course not!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It's the same with money. If you want to increase your income it would be wise to surround yourself with people who make the kind of money you wish to make.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We humans are significantly influenced by everything that happens around us. Not necessary by what we hear, see, or feel... instead, we're influenced by the PEOPLE around us.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The ole' peer-pressure gimmick. It's real and it exists in all of us. In fact, we literally become the person we surround ourselves with.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I now know that without the proper application of the Mastermind principles it is impossible to achieve high levels of success and sustain it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It is to say that unless you connect your mind to the minds of other people, use their education, their temperament, their foresight... and sometimes even their capital, you'll never get very far.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;All of the great achievements ... Microsoft, Google, Apple, General Electric, Ford Motors, JC Penney, Wal-Mart, etc are the results of Mastermind Alliances and the use of other people's money (capital-ventures).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Mastermind principle is the medium which one can procure the full benefits of the experience, training, and specialized knowledge of others of influence. It's almost as if their mind was your own.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;For example, take the life of Thomas A. Edison who was thrown out of school and sent home because he was told he had an addled mind. He was told he couldn't study with "normal" people because he was too dumb... unable to be educated.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In the end, he never went back to school again.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He didn't have specialized knowledge in any of the sciences; however, he selected as his major purpose in life a calling that demanded he use ALL the sciences.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He had to have technical ability, scientific training and a variety of other specialized knowledge, yet he had none of those.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;And what did he do about it?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He did what every ultra-successful person does when they undertake something that is beyond the realm of their achievements...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;... he surrounded himself with people who did have those abilities, people who did understand chemistry, people who did understand physics, people who had the necessary training the he didn't possess.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He told them WHAT to do... and they showed him HOW to do it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In every instance where you find an ultra-successful person in any calling, you will find that their success is the result of a Mastermind Alliance of one sort or another.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Through the experience and knowledge of a marketer... one may make practical use of marketing without being a trained marketer.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Incidentally, one may choose as their major purpose in life anything they desire, and even though they may not have the education, they can easily bridge that deficiency by surrounding themselves with people who do have that knowledge and education.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Step #2 - Actively Participate in REGULAR Mastermind Sessions&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you've ever experienced a roundtable session or a "hot seat" session, or been involved in an organized meeting with a common objective and started talking about any problem or any subject... you'll find that as the discussion goes on you will learn more and more about that subject.&amp;nbsp; And often times the person that will come forth with the most enlightening conversation on the subject will be the one who knows the least about it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The reason for this is because the harmony of minds enables the individual minds to tune into sources of information not available to you under any other circumstance.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;**&lt;strong&gt;WARNING&lt;/strong&gt; - this is where things get a little freaky and "new-age" as in the movie, The Secret. **&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Mastermind Alliance takes the mind and steps it up to higher levels of thought where you can tune in on the ether that connects your conscious brain to the subconscious brains of others. And, perhaps, jumps up your brain waves to levels that connect your thinking brain to sources of Infinite Intelligence.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Sounds a little weird and difficult to comprehend, but let's use a valid example.&amp;nbsp; In Dr. Hill's book he talks about the likeness of the human brain to an electric battery.&amp;nbsp; It is a well-known fact that a group of electric batteries will form more energy than a single battery.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Further more, it is also known that an individual battery will provide energy in proportion to the number of cells it contains.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Therefore, just like a single flashlight will only produce a certain amount of light... a group of flashlights will always be brighter because of each individual's light energy.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The human brain works in a similar fashion - a group of brains which are connected or coordinated on a single goal, in a spirit of harmony, will provide more thought energy than a single brain.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;With this analogy, you can see that "no two or more minds ever come together without, therefore, creating a third, invisible, tangible force which may be likened to a third mind."&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Freaky, I know.&amp;nbsp; But dig through your past when you were involved in deep discussion about a single goal with two or more people. The creative juices were flowing!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Granted, there are times when it's just not working, but that's most likely because you weren't in perfect harmony with the other members.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So again, an active alliance of two or more minds working in perfect harmony for the attainment of a common objective stimulates each individual's mind to a higher degree of confidence and courage than that which is ordinarily experienced, and prepares the way for that state of mind known as faith.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In conclusion, I can only hope this blog has helped you realize the benefits from obtaining your own Mastermind Alliance. It is essential to your growth.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Is Silence The New "No"??</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;I feel awkward writing this blog post.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It's really not the topic, the timing, or any personal event causing me to feel uncomfortable.&amp;nbsp; Nope, it's nothing like that.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Instead, it's&amp;nbsp;a lingering feeling of not knowing&amp;nbsp;where to begin that is bothering me.&amp;nbsp; You see,&amp;nbsp;this is&amp;nbsp;one of my first blog posts... ever!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It's&amp;nbsp;been a very long time since I last posted anything on a blog or ActiveRain in general.&amp;nbsp; And while that may not seem like a good thing... as I sit here writing to you, my absence feels like a 50-foot wall I'm supposed to climb.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It's weird.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;On one hand, I'm eager to get writing again.&amp;nbsp; But, because of my absence I feel my first post has to be better than normal or something.&amp;nbsp; It almost feels like the "stage fright"&amp;nbsp;I&amp;nbsp;felt when&amp;nbsp;I was in school giving a presentation in front of&amp;nbsp;my classmates.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So, screw it.&amp;nbsp; I am not going to let my brain play these little games on me.&amp;nbsp; Instead, I'll just tell you what's on my mind.&amp;nbsp; This way, next week, it'll be like old times again and I can get back into writing more often.&amp;nbsp; Agreed?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So, here's my thought for today...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;------------------------------------------&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Is Silence The New "No"?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;------------------------------------------&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Here's what I mean.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;With the increasing demands&amp;nbsp;of the real estate industry&amp;nbsp;and Web 2.0 Marketing - Emails pile up, some tasks are left undone, and a few phone calls are sometimes not returned.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We've all been there, right?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;But what happens when it's you on the receiving end.&amp;nbsp; Waiting for an important answer you need to move forward or waiting for an approval to move ahead.&amp;nbsp; It sucks to be kept in limbo, but what can you do about it?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You've got a few options:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1.)&amp;nbsp; Track down the non-responsive party through a more immediate communication channel like the phone, instant messaging, or personal visit.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;2.)&amp;nbsp; Get in touch with someone who either works with or for the party you are waiting to hear from.&amp;nbsp; And have them pass the message along.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;3.)&amp;nbsp; Include deadlines in your communications and how things will proceed if you don't get the answers you're waiting for.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;4.)&amp;nbsp; Establish ground rules for communication so you're clear how to escalate a request when there's no response.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have used all the above options at different times.&amp;nbsp; And they are all effective.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;What about you?&amp;nbsp; Do you have any different strategies to prevent being dragged down by silence?&amp;nbsp; If so, please share them below because I believe silence is increasingly going to be a standard response that must be planned for instead of being viewed as a personal rejection.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You see, just like this blog post and my own uneasy feelings getting back into the swing of things.&amp;nbsp; You don't want your partners to procrastinate even further because of the delays already taken place.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;That means if it's important to you - the onus is on you to do whatever it takes to get the ball rolling again...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I really believe this is the new challenge in working with others and working in real estate.&amp;nbsp; Unfortunately, I think it'll only get worse with time.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;That's why I am curious what you think and what solutions you may have already came up with.&amp;nbsp; Go ahead and share them below.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;=RonReed=&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>Mindset ... VS ... Marketing??   Which 1 is more important?? (vote now)</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;Hey Everyone,&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Yesterday I got an e-mail from a guy who I consider to be one of the biggest secret weapons I have in my arsenal that I'll sneak-into the back-door when I'm down-and-out and need some personal coaching.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Not too many people know about this guy because he's like a stealth bomber and travels completely underneth the radar and outside of the lime light... and pretty much mainly works with only the highest super-achievers of the world.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;But when you discover his credentials, when you discover his background, this guy is the guy you'll find behind some of the most powerful and influential players in the world.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;He doesn't just mess around with millionaires.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Anyone now-a-days can be a millionaire especially in california where if you just own 2 pieces of property... you pretty much already have a net-worth of over $1 million dollars.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;(millionaire = *yawn* ... no big deal anymore.)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This guy works with the *real-deal* players, the billionaires, and not only the billionaires...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;... but even the 'trillion' dollar organizations.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Now many of you may think there's no such thing as a 'trillion' dollar organization...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;... but when you start getting on the *inside* of governments and the high-powered media institutions within the middle east, eastern europe, and even parts of asia...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;These governmental organizations and media companies out there control more money and power than most people can even conceive of.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;These organization control 'trillions' of dollars, and these are the organizations this guy works with.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I think that should give you a good picture of how powerful this guy really is, and why I feel so absolutely blessed and honored to be able to pick this guy's brain... break bread with him... and why he is the #1 guy I turn to when I really need some personal coaching.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I could go on and on about this guy...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;... but the main reason why I'm writing this blog-entry is because I just recently saw a video that this guy did where he proposed a very provocative question...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;what do you think is more important:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;#1)&amp;nbsp; Mindset&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;-- OR --&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;#2)&amp;nbsp; Marketing&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It's almost like the question,&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;what came first...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;a) the chicken ... b) or the egg??&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I thought it would be a neat little video for you guys to watch... and to also place your vote so we could all see what other people have to say about this question.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;But not only that...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;...       <title>The Market is Changing ... You Either GetRich or Die a Slow Death!</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;hey everyone,&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;a lot of people have been asking me lately...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;"hey ron, where the heck have you been lately??&amp;nbsp; i haven't heard a single *peep* from you in a while and i was just wondering what in the world you have been up to?"&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;well, there's several good reasons why i've been laying low under the radar as of late.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;#1)&amp;nbsp; (surprise, surprise!)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;one of my buddies told me now is the perfect time to either GetRich and adapt to the market changes, and position yourself ahead of the curve...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;... or otherwise your business will die a slow and gruesome death!&amp;nbsp; (you won't even know what happened to you.)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;look at&amp;nbsp;our current&amp;nbsp;real estate market.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;look at&amp;nbsp;our current&amp;nbsp;mortgage market.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;for the last 5-years... these markets absolutely exploded and those who got in the right time, and were in the right place made out like bandits!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;but now... whew!&amp;nbsp; it's a tough market!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;and people are dropping off to the side in droves because now they can hardly survive.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;that's one of the markets that have dramatically changed.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;it appears that it's going to come down to basic "Darwinism"...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;it's going to come down to the 'survival of the fittest'.&amp;nbsp; you either adapt to the market changes... or you say like the japanese say:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;'Sayonara' = (goodbye!)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;pick-up a copy of today's L.A. times, open it up to the business section, and right there smack on the front page is a 'clue' to what i discovered and will give you a little 'taste' of where the market is heading.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;then check your e-mail inbox for an e-mail from RIS Media&amp;nbsp;(the top eal estate media source)... check out what they are saying about the changes going on with Web 2.0 technologies and mapping services.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;that's your 2nd clue.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;the market is changing... and if you don't see the writing on the wall... it's over-rover for you!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;mark you calenders because on October 31st, 2007... not only is Halloween, but that day could also be the day that your business life changes forever.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;why?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;because on that day, i'm going to release the next generation of real estate success... that is the day i'm going to reveal to all of my closest associates what i see happening in the marketplace.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;that is the day where if you've ever wanted to become a successful real estate professional... i'm going to show you how to stack the deck in your favor, show you how to get the best odds in your business...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;... and i'm going to share with you something that no one else is hardly talking about yet in the open public.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;all of my "inner circle" goo-roo friends know this stuff.&amp;nbsp;       <title>Top 30 Rookies for Season V Announced </title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;ALISO VIEJO, CA, &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;strong&gt;February 28, 2006&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;strong&gt; &amp;ndash; &lt;/strong&gt;Any real estate professional will agree  that&lt;strong&gt; &lt;/strong&gt;$163,500 in education,  mentoring, products and tools will propel any new agents career.&amp;nbsp; Over 1,700 new agents concurred with that premise  and put in the time and effort to answer essay and background questions in  order to get the gold.&amp;nbsp; &amp;ldquo;The Foundation  offers some extraordinary free grants and the flow of new agents applying have  not slowed despite recent shifts into a somewhat dawdling market,&amp;rdquo; said Dr. Martin Oliver, Deputy Executive Director at the Real  Estate Apprentice Foundation.&amp;nbsp; Today, the  Foundation announced the names of their Top 30 grant candidates drawn from a  pool of 1,723 applicants for Season V (July-Dec 2006).&amp;nbsp; Now the group of thirty is competing for one  grand prize of $70,000 (fast-track real estate products and tools donated from  leading industry sponsors), $7,000 for nine finalists, $2,500 for ten semi-finalists  and $300-$800 for ten honorable mentions.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;  This elite group of thirty had their essay answers, background answers,  bio and photos sent to a panel of sixteen independent judges for final award  determination.&amp;nbsp; Every applicant was  eligible for a minimum grant valued at $250, regardless of whether they  progressed to the 2nd Round or not. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Twenty-six of the contestants  represent classroom attendance at real estate schools in the following eleven  states: Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Montana, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin.&amp;nbsp;  Four contestants attended real estate schools on-line. &lt;/p&gt;
