While its great that home owners are getting more savvy about my profession - home staging - its also made things more difficult. Sometimes, with the issues I have to address as part of my job, regardless of how I give the feedback, it’s not always well received.

Vacant homes are some of the toughest properties to sell. A national survey done by the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) in 2009 found that vacant homes which were staged spent 78% less time on the market.
Below are the reasons why Kitchener-Waterloo vacant homes are so hard to sell:
1) Buyers are inherently visual - only 10% of buyers can actually see past what is right in front of them. If they can't see it, they won't buy it.

Michelangelo and Leonardo Da Vinci created stunning works of art that still have the power to make people speechless.

Sadly, as a professional stager, the works of art that my partner and I create sadly don't have that type of longevity (houses sell too fast). We do however create beautiful staging designs that we have captured in photographs and which now grace the pages of our portfolio albums.
