 It's amazing how vacant homes can look cold, stagnant, and void of energy.  Here's some Before & After photos of a mid-century home in Portland Oregon that we staged recently ... the smart listing broker suggested staging to the sellers, and they hired our company to stage it.
Before, the Living room looks OK, but it's hard for buyers to "feel" how the space might work for them ....

Which one of these Dining rooms would most buyers prefer to enjoy a meal in?

Today my Portland home staging company completed staging of a "Rummer" home in the suburb of Beaverton, Oregon.  If you haven't heard of a "Rummer" these homes were built in the 1960's and '70's with a post-and-beam design.  Robert Rummer was the builder and creator, and he styled them after another type of home that he admired, the Eichler home.  Eichlers were a popular mid-century ranch home in California, with most rooms built off a central atrium.

We recently staged a home in Portland Oregon that had been on the market for a couple of months without any offers.  After talking with the client, I viewed the online listing photos and was "underwhelmed" with the presentation of this property.
Looking at these online photos, you can't imagine feeling compelled to rush over to see this home in person
